Who is responsible
FiKHSONSTM LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as VASSiSTECH ("VASSiSTECH", "we", "us") is responsible for the personal information described here. For data a client gives us about its own customers or staff under an Order, the client decides and VASSiSTECH processes it on the client's instructions, as the Client Master Agreement says.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, name, member code, the sign-in codes and links we send (stored only as a one-way hash) and the time of each sign-in.
- Professionals: the profile you enter (legal name, countries of residence and work, city, headline, skills, languages, experience, platforms, services and levels, tools, hours, time zone, rate expectation), how you are paid and an optional note about the payment account, the tax form type and the name you sign it with, and an emergency contact.
- Clients: the company or person you enter (legal name, country, state, registration number, tax identification number, address, website, billing email), your title, and the jobs you describe.
- Identity check: if you start it, our verification partner checks your ID document and a live selfie and compares your face with the document photo. This is biometric data; we process it only with the consent you give before the check. We keep only the result (verified or not, the document type and country, and whether the name matches), never the document images or the selfie.
- Agreements: the exact text you confirm, its fingerprint, the time, your account, a coded form of your internet address and your browser type.
- Money: invoices, receipts and their status; for card or bank payments, the payment processor's reference for the payment, never your card or account number. For professionals: work reports, approvals and payouts (amount, method, transfer reference).
- Contact form: your name, email, optional phone and company, the topic, your message, your consent, a coded form of your internet address and your browser type.
- Technical: our hosting provider and our website security provider process technical data such as internet addresses to deliver the pages and stop attacks.
Cookies
We use one cookie for visitors who sign in: fik_candidate keeps you signed in for 30 days. There are no advertising or analytics cookies and no third-party tracking.
Why we use it
- To create and run your account, verify identities, generate and keep agreements, match professionals with jobs, issue invoices, approve work and pay professionals (performing the contract and the steps before it).
- To keep the service secure, prevent fraud and screen against sanctions lists (our legitimate interest and legal obligations).
- To keep records the law requires, such as invoices and tax forms (legal obligation).
- To answer your messages (your consent and our legitimate interest).
We make no decision with legal effect about you by automated means alone; a person at VASSiSTECH reviews matches, work approvals and identity checks that do not pass.
Who receives it
- The other side of the work sees only what the system shows: a client sees a professional's skills, experience and country under an alias, never the name or contact; a professional sees a job without the client's name. Contact details never cross.
- Service providers acting for us: an identity verification provider (identity checks), a payment processor (payments), our email delivery provider, our hosting provider, our website security provider, and the payout provider a professional chooses (for example Payoneer, Wise or a bank).
- Authorities when the law requires it.
We do not sell or rent personal information and do not share it for advertising.
International transfers
The website and its database are hosted in the United States. Professionals and clients outside the United States agree that their information is processed there; where the law of their country requires a transfer safeguard, we use the route that law allows.
How long we keep it
- Account and profile: while the account is open, and deleted or made anonymous after it is closed, except what is listed below.
- Confirmed agreements, invoices, receipts, work approvals, payouts and tax form details: seven years after the relationship ends, because tax and contract law require it.
- Identity check results: while the account is open; the verification provider deletes its own copy after six months.
- Contact messages: up to 24 months after we handle them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, to stop or limit its use, to receive a copy in a portable form, and to withdraw a consent you gave. Residents of the European Union and the United Kingdom can also complain to their data protection authority; California residents can ask what we hold and ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected]; we reply within one month.
Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Sign-in codes and internet addresses are stored only as one-way hashes, access is limited to authorised staff whose actions are recorded, and documents are never public.
Children
VASSiSTECH's services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Changes
When we change this policy, the date at the top changes, and a material change is shown on the website before it applies.
